11, 2000: added the self-check exercise Argumentación:
uso de nexos (subjuntivo) in the new category Syntax. The exercise
is also available in the Verbs category. It's designed for intermediate/advanced
students, and consists of completing a set of 10 sentences using connectors
and phrases that require Subjunctive.

6, 2000: added the self-check web site Directions,
under the Verbs/Imperative category, featuring a listening comprehension
exercise to trace on a map the steps a tourist must follow in order to
get to a bus stop. The map represents a part of downtown Madrid. The audio
(.wav or .mp3 formats) plays a native speaker from Madrid. The exercise
includes a fill in the blank an several options to complete the map.

28, 2000: added the self-check web site Alimentos,
under the Vocabulary category, featuring a review of food vocabulary.

II, under the Videos category, featuring a guided viewing web
site around a 23-second video clip. This site requires Quick Time 4 or
higher.

November 15, 1999: added a
